Can't Find Harrison County Meeting Videos? Here's Where They Are
Your county commissioners and council record their meetings. Finding them online takes some digging — until now.
Harrison County residents who want to see how their county government votes on budgets, land use, and development can watch meetings online. But if you've looked on the county website and come up empty-handed, you're not alone — and you're not doing anything wrong.
The page where meeting videos are posted isn't linked from the county website's menus. There's no "watch meetings" button on the homepage, no link under the Leadership section, and nothing obvious guiding you to the recordings. If you don't already know the web address, you're unlikely to stumble onto it.
So here it is:
The Video Link
Harrison County Meeting Video Recordings: https://www.in.gov/counties/harrison/leadership/meeting-video-recordings
Copy and paste that address into your browser, or type it exactly as shown. Bookmark it — you'll need to come back to it directly each time, since there's no menu path to it from the county's main pages.
Once there, you'll find recorded meetings of the county's governing bodies. From the same general area of the county site, you can also find meeting agendas and minutes, which list what was discussed and voted on.
Town of Corydon Makes it Easy
If you live inside Corydon town limits, the town government shows how it should be done.
The Town of Corydon's website — townofcorydon.com — features a "View Live Stream Meetings" link right on the homepage. Town council meetings stream live on the town's official YouTube channel and stay there afterward for on-demand viewing:

Meetings of the Corydon Town Council, as well as other town boards, can be watched there anytime — no hunting required.
Why Meeting Video Matters
Both the county commissioners and the county council meet in the evenings at the Harrison County Government Center, 245 Atwood St. in Corydon. Attending in person isn't realistic for many people — work, family, and distance get in the way.
Video lets you catch up on your own schedule:
Budget decisions that determine how your tax dollars are spent
Land use and zoning actions that affect nearby properties and the whole county
Moratoriums and development votes, including recent decisions on data centers in the county
Indiana law backs this up. Since July 1, 2025, state law has required county commissioners, county councils, town councils, and school boards to make their public meetings available online — either live-streamed or recorded — with archived copies kept available for the public to view.
The Town of Corydon makes this easy: its website features a "View Live Stream Meetings" link right on the homepage, and its meetings stream on the town's YouTube channel. Clark County gives residents a dedicated "Video Center." Harrison County has the recordings — they're just tucked where residents can't readily find them.
What Happens Next
Eyes on Harrison will be reaching out to county officials to ask that the video links be added to the county website's main navigation and included directly in posted meeting minutes and agendas, so residents can find recordings without hunting for them.
We'll update this article when we hear back, and let you know when — and where — the fix appears.
In the meantime, save the link above, and share it with a neighbor. County government belongs to all of us, and watching it shouldn't require a treasure map.
